ACAFSG is a community-focused organisation providing inclusive, creative, and wellbeing-based programmes for children, young people, and adults of all abilities.
our
story
ACAFSG was founded out of a deep need to create a safe, inclusive environment where children and young people — particularly those with additional needs — could learn practical skills, build confidence, and feel valued.
What began as a small initiative rooted in community care has grown into a structured programme supporting families through creativity, cultural expression, and life-skills development.
From sewing and creative arts to dance, wellbeing, and lifestyle education, acafsg exists to empower individuals through accessible, hands-on learning experiences.
the founder's journey
ACAFSG was established by a passionate community advocate who recognised the gap in safe, skills-based spaces for neurodivergent and underserved young people.
With a background in fashion and design, the founder used her expertise and personal resources to launch sewing-based sessions that later evolved into structured programmes such as AutiStitch and Adult Sewing Workshops.
Her commitment to inclusion, cultural pride, and empowerment continues to shape the heart of acafsg today.
